What We're All About
We are a group of researchers across Canada and France, who are doing clinical studies of pneumonia. Our team includes research nurses, doctors, statisticians and scientists. We are focussing on the causes of pneumonia, the mechanisms that make pneumonia severe, and hoping to discover new treatments for pneumonia.

The Captivate Program led by the University of British Columbia/St. Paul’s Hospital team with investigators and sites across Canada and France continues to make major discoveries to decrease the severity and mortality of pneumonia. Our studies have made important breakthroughs in understanding the causes and treatment of community-acquired pneumonia.
